Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens is not set in a cabaret bar - it is a cabaret bar and the characters in the show are the staff of the bar. The audience buy their drinks from Mitch the barman and take a seat at a table to watch the cabaret. They are visited by Booby the cocktail waitress making the rounds and taking orders or perhaps by Saucy Jack himself performing a number through the tables. There is no playing area set aside for the cast and there is no need for the audience to suspend any disbelief - they are treated by the characters as if they are really there.
